About Wilderness Fellowship

Our Mission

To provide a place of refuge, peace, restoration and hope, dedicated to help people establish intimacy with Jesus Christ and those they love.

Who We Are

In operation since 1972, the Wilderness Fellowship Ministries is a four-season ministry facility which provides a place of retreat and refreshment that fosters Godly intimacy. Nestled between two lakes, it is located 10 miles northwest of Frederic, Wisconsin on 250 acres of rolling wooded land with frontage on two good fishing lakes, miles of hiking trails, lots of wildlife and beauty.  Retreat facilities include personal prayer cabins, larger cabins for groups or families, a large meeting-retreat-fellowship facility, as well as many campsite spots. Some facilities are rustic and others are completely modern. We operate by donation only and have diligently worked to provide a place where God’s people can come away and hear His voice.
